About Mayor Kathi Hemken
Kathi has lived in New Hope for nearly 50 years. She is a widow with six grown children and eleven grandchildren.
Kathi is a graduate of the University of Minnesota, where she earned a BS in production management. She has also taken courses in Community Planning.
Prior to her election to Mayor in 2008, Kathi worked at Honeywell as a production planning supervisor.
